The Unique Solution

At the historic Brentwood Country Club, we provided the essential civil engineering, infrastructure planning, and permitting to modernize a legacy asset while honoring its antebellum roots on the Midway Plantation. Our approach supported a complete 18-hole renovation, encompassing hydrologic engineering, bio-retention treatment basins, and the complex relocation of fueling infrastructure to protect the local watershed.

To support the architect’s rolling meadow aesthetic, we engineered “invisible infrastructure”—discreet drainage and utility systems that allow the historic stone walls and Civil War–era breastworks to remain the focal point. Our team managed the technical framework that enabled the transition to Champion Bermudagrass, requiring precise, customized moisture control and subsurface drainage.

Success & Impact

The result is a championship-caliber course that maintained daily operations for its 475 members throughout construction. Our data-backed approach and environmental stewardship resolved community anxieties, delivering a modernized facility that balances 21st-century performance with 19th-century history.
