For Wilson Development, we served as the specialized infrastructure partner for a new Popeyes in Ellenwood, GA. Our team managed the full civil engineering lifecycle for this 2,695 SF quick-service restaurant on a tight 1.17 acre site. This included site design, utility routing, and complex permitting management, specifically navigating the jurisdictional requirements of Clayton County to secure essential Land Disturbance and Building permits.

QSR development is a race against “speed-to-market” pressures, where every day of municipal review burns capital. To protect the developer’s ROI, we acted as a proactive advocate, anticipating the challenges of fitting high-volume stacking and bypass lanes onto a high-cost pad.

We leveraged high-resolution site assessments to prevent interdisciplinary clashes between dense kitchen MEP requirements and exterior grease interceptor design. By providing precise ADA route criteria and truck turn analysis early in the schematic phase, we navigated the “permitting labyrinth” without the need for mid-construction redesigns. Our craftsmanship ensured the facility met modern pedestrian-centric standards while maintaining the drive-thru efficiency the brand requires.
